Our energy industry and policies are closely connected to our national security. Chris Rawlings, Chief Efficiency Officer of Veteran LED, interviews U.S. Navy veteran Dan Misch, founder and co-director of the Veterans Advanced Energy Project. Its goal is to “drive U.S. leadership in advanced energy by recruiting, equipping and empowering military veterans who understand the importance of the evolving energy landscape to our future security and prosperity.” Based in Chicago, Dan also served as federal project director for the U.S. Department of Energy at Argonne National Laboratory. Dan is an advocate for international collaboration and investments in advanced energy technology to strengthen US national security.
